Righteousness Produces Great Joy

Hebrews 1:8

8. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Good works and being a faithful steward of the mysteries of God are commendable and have their reward. But not by themselves outside of Faith. Develop at this time a greater faith in the God who does miracles, the God who opens the eyes of the blind, the God who is calling you to a closer walk with him. And be declared by God to walk in righteousness.

Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Psalm 37:4-11 King James Version (KJV)

4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

Hosea 10:12

12. Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he comes and rains righteousness upon you.

2 Corinthians 5:21

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Once again, a brief synopsis of righteousness is believing God enough to act on what he says. 

Romans 1:17

17. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

James 5:16b,17

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. 17. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. 18. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost

Fear is not the norm for your life, but walking in light will bring intensive joy. Give yourself wholeheartedly to the development and establishments of his righteousness.

Isaiah 54:14

14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

Isaiah 32:17,18

17.And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

18. And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

When Your big brother is looking over your shoulder, you move with confidence. When God is looking over your shoulder, your bold and effective. Get to know your Father In relationship as well as in faith, it will astound you how he will move up right beside you as you speak his word, and the enemy of your soul will depart.

The wicked flee when no man pursues but the righteous are as bold a Lion. Proverbs 28:1
